Pixel Surgeon v3.2

What this does

Pixel Surgeon cleans your Pixel Art of JPEG artifacts, anti-aliasing, dithers, cell-padding and more! Each Grid Cell is mapped and filled by majority color if it passes the customizable transparency tolerance. Then you can paint or erase cell-by-cell with Better-Than-Aseprite Pencil tools.

Hotkeys & Controls

• Ctrl/Cmd + Z — Undo
• Ctrl/Cmd + Y / Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z — Redo
• Alt + Click — Eyedropper
• Shift + Drag — Zoom (drag up to zoom in, down to zoom out)
• Space + Drag (or Middle Mouse) — Pan
• Toolbar — Pencil/Eraser, Grid toggle, Center to 100%, Download PNG
• Hand button — Toggle panning with the mouse

Tips

• If nothing appears after Apply, lower tolerance or try a smaller cell size.
• Use “Include Grid in PNG” to bake helper lines into exports.
